11 Second Club
I can't believe I didn't post this on here!
Towards the end of July I found myself with some spare time, so I worked a little bit on a clip for the 11 Second club. Obviously, since I only had a couple days before the competition ended for the month, I wasn't able to finish in time... but here's what I was able to get done:
For anyone who hasn't heard of it, the 11 Second Club is a monthly online contest for animators. You're given 11 seconds of dialogue from a film which you much then interpret in animation, be it 2D or 3D. I'm hoping I'll have a chance to do this month's, though I dunno, stuff at work has been keeping me busy.
It's kind of nice, despite my love for modeling, to kick back and just focus on motion.
Also, a quick question for any LA-ites in the audience... since Dr Sketchy's LA branch seems to be nonexistent until Kat Bardot gets back, are there any other sort of weekly figure drawing opportunities? I'm having hardcore life drawing withdrawl.
