curiouser comic sketches

It's looking like I'm not going to finish my NaNoWriMo project by the deadline, but I am finally getting around to post some art from its first incarnation, as a comic.
This is Finn, or it was Finn until Glee exploded all over the place and he had to be renamed. (I've got nuthin but love for Glee, fyi.) He is the 'white rabbit' character who arrives out of nowhere and whisks our heroine away.


so it became apparent very quickly that backgrounds were not a priority for me. That's something I need to work on.












and suddenly each page was just full of floating heads and text bubbles, and then even the bubbles evaporated... and that's when I decided I'd just focus on the story & dialogue, and when that ever gets figured out I can focus more on the artwork and layout. yay, stuff!
also, it is SO GOOD to draw with a real honest to god pencil on real honest to god paper. I miss it. The computer is destroying my creativity! ...and my wrist, but that's another story.
